But I can't seem to find a way to access html for it...so no paragraphs or active links in the "About Me" section? Maybe someone more clueful can give me info :)

My solution to linky stuff is to add the kind of widgets you can put links in and tweaking their headings.
I guess this little section has something to do with my profile and is spe-shul. Sigh. I wish widgets were more transparent for people like me who can only just very barely alter HTML.
I don't know why I was too lazy to learn HTML. Or too tired. Or too something.
